The Team

Kelli Williams

Real Estate Salesperson

Locally born and bred, Kelli spent her early career beyond the realms of Oamaru, serving for 20 years with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. She worked in many different roles, but the highlight was becoming a captain of the Iroquois helicopter and operating at various locations around the world. During those years she purchased and renovated a number of properties around New Zealand, through which her passion for real estate was born.

A military background has armed her with many skills and attributes, but most importantly it instilled within her the core values of honesty, integrity and commitment, skills that are paramount to be successful in the world of real estate.

Teamed with Alan McLay, the diverse range of skills and expertise Kelli and Alan bring to the fore ensure their customers receive a sales experience like no other.

Kelli is looking forward to helping you achieve your goals of buying or selling property in this wonderful region that we are lucky enough to call home.

Alan McLay

Real Estate Salesperson

Having lived in Oamaru for over 50 years Alan’s involvement in property, as a tradesman and as a landlord in both commercial and residential property gives Alan the knowledge and acumen to be able to assist you with your real estate needs.

Alan owned and managed his own insurance brokerage for twenty three years until becoming the mayor of the district for two terms.

Chairing and being involved with the North Otago Irrigation Company helped Alan better understand the needs of the rural sector and how a healthy rural section is vital to small towns like Oamaru.

His local involvement in sales and marketing over many years in his own business, as well as in many community projects stands him in good stead to listen and tailor satisfactory solutions to the wide ranging real estate requirements of a diverse local clientele.

Success for Alan has been built on a simple philosophy 'you will achieve everything you want by helping others achieve what they want'.

Lyndon McLay

Real Estate Salesperson

Lyndon is a true local, born and bred in Oamaru and apart from several short adventures to other places, has consistently and intentionally called Oamaru home.

The appeal of wide-open spaces, rivers, lakes, and snowy mountains fit perfectly with his love of all thing’s petrol powered and his need for speed. His entire family love the area, reside here and all embrace the opportunities and lifestyle to be found in the district.

When Lyndon left school, he commenced a building apprenticeship in the family business and after swinging a hammer for a few years decided to come in out of the cold and try his hand at sales. He brings to the team his building experience and extensive local knowledge, both of which are invaluable.

During his 32 years in real estate Lyndon has proven himself highly successful and has consistently been a member of the Captain’s Club, a group representing the top 5% of salespeople in the LJ Hooker Group throughout New Zealand. In recent years he has consistently attained 500 Club levels as a direct result of his unswerving commitment to hard work, customer care and his straight up, no nonsense attitude to getting the job done.

Lyndon has been actively involved in the local community for many years, serving on school boards and community organisations and is currently on the Board of the North Otago Youth Support Trust.

Recently Lyndon decided to move to the One Agency Team after 30 plus years working with L J Hooker Oamaru, a move driven by his desire to offer more flexibility and fairness to his customers as they navigate a shifting and uncertain market moving forward.

So, if you value experience, market knowledge, drive and determination and would love to get the job done with a healthy dose of honesty and humour – Lyndon could be the ideal person to call. He teams up with James Symes to trade as "the Good Guys" and is always available to chat about real estate
